Professional Practices

 Last week as a family we have gone to Windsor Castle as it was my dad's birthday. At first, we were planning to also take The Long Walk but realised how long it is however we said that we would go there again and take the walk. Castle itself has surpassed my expectations everything just felt different/magical as soon as we have entered the castle. I liked how the grass is cut in a way to create an effect of the wave throughout the castle. Also, before going to the castle I have seen an article that mentioned looking up while in the castle. I can see why I, because otherwise I would miss a lot of little details that made the castle shocking. And is mind-boggling how many little details are placed within the castle itself.

 Today, I was further working on improving my brand and working towards Professional Practices by doing a Gratitude Letter, Powerpoint etc. All of the additional content that is beneficial to good brand.  Furthermore, I was thinking when i would finish majority of the content of putting it together into InDesign document to make sure it looks professional.

 Good thing was that majority of the branding was finished beforehand as I was working on it during the lockdown as I was working on it in my spare time. So the work that I had to do was the showreel, cover letters, gratitude letters. Also, the sessions with Dean helped to get an understanding of how the real world works. And made me realise that I needed to transfer all of the content of my CV into the Word Document as I had one before in PDF.

 I have found that it was beneficial that i I had a foundation for the brand beforehand as it gave me a headstart and saved me time as I already had an idea and a working website. Allowing me to focus on other projects or further improve this one.  As I have set up the website and brand during lockdown when I thought of starting up the freelance business during Covid.
